We last saw the Voyager name gracing a Plymouth minivan, but that badge has been resurrected for a new vehicle, the seven-seat 2020 Chrysler Voyager minivan… which, in turn, bears more than a passing resemblance to the Chrysler Pacifica. In many important respects, the 2020 Chrysler Voyager is identical to the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. They share the same platform and bodywork, the same engine and transmission, and the same amount of space.

However, they’re not quite identical. For one thing, you won’t find a Chrysler Voyager Hybrid. For another, the trim levels (L, LX, and an LXi trim that’s targeted at fleet use) don’t match up, either. And for some features, like a two-pane sunroof, power-operated side doors and lift gate, you’ll need to step up to the Chrysler Pacifica, while others (like Stow n’ Go seating) are available in a different form. The Chrysler Voyager is oriented toward value, with the Chrysler Pacifica oriented more toward luxury.
