The new Durango SUV has eight different trim levels to choose from:

While the trim names may seem unassuming, each one adds a highly desirable set of features, up to the decked-out R/T Plus trim that features such delicacies as leather, a sunroof, and a premium stereo system.

Engine and Powertrain Details

Base models of the new Dodge Durango come equipped with a V6 engine that makes 295 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

An optional V8 engine kicks the horsepower up to 360 and maxes out the tow capacity at a whopping 8,700 pounds. And the SRT models come with a HEMI® V8 that rocks out 475 horsepower, an incredible feat for such a large SUV.
