2023 Ram 1500 Trim Levels Overview

The 2023 lineup of RAM 1500 trucks is packed with options. Whether you’re looking for the versatility of off-road and highway comfort of the RAM Rebel® or the beastly power of the RAM TRX®, we have you covered. With so many trims to choose from, it’s important to see how they all differ.

Power and Performance Options

The first thing to know about this line up of RAM 1500 trucks is the choice of engine. There are four to choose from. So, inevitably there is some crossover between which trims offer which engines. Here they are:

• 305-horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 — Available in the Tradesman®, Tradesman® HFE, Bighorn®, Laramie®, Rebel®, and Limited Longhorn™.
• 395-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 — Available in the Tradesman®, Bighorn®, Laramie®, Rebel®, Limited Longhorn™, and Limited.
• 260-horsepower 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6* — Available in the Tradesman®, Tradesman® HFE, Bighorn®, Laramie®, Rebel®, Limited Longhorn™, and Limited.
• 702-horsepower 6.2-liter HEMI® V8 —Only available in the RAM 1500 TRX®.

*It’s worth noting that the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 is only available for order until January 2023.

Features

The 2023 RAM 1500 Tradesman® comes with a whole suite of features, including optional four-wheel drive, 18-inch steel wheels, optional Advanced Safety Group features, and a roomy cabin.

With each other trim, you’ll get more and more features. These include additional chrome and power seat options, Uconnect® 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and more in the Big Horn®. Heated seats are ventilated seats are featured in the Laramie®. Vinyl and cloth bucket seats come with the Rebel® upgrade as does off-road suspension and locking rear differential.

The Limited Longhorn™ and Limited editions add a larger touchscreen, configurable digital instrument cluster, and more. Finally, the TRX® brings the focus to its 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI®, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and high-performance suspension.
