Engine and Powertrain Details 

The standard engine option for the new Jeep Wrangler is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that makes 285 horsepower. It can pair with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission.  

A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine teams up with two electric motors and a 400-volt battery pack for extra power in the Jeep Wrangler 4xe PHEV models. More available drivetrains include a 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel engine and a super powerful 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine.
