Configuration Options for a Four-Door Jeep® Wrangler

One of the most well-known models in its lineup is the iconic Jeep Wrangler. With more than 10 different trim levels and editions for the 2021 model year, options abound with this SUV. See the full list of trims below:

Powertrain Options

In true Jeep fashion, there are nearly as many engine options as trim levels. The following are all engine options for the 2021 Wrangler SUV:

• 6-liter V6
• Turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid
• 6-liter V6 with hybrid-assist
• 0-liter diesel V6
• Plug-in hybrid 4xe
• 4-liter V8

The Jeep Wrangler plug-in hybrid configuration is new for this year and is only available on four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited models. It can deliver up to 25 miles of electric-only driving, in addition to the extra power when combined with the gas engine.

The 6.4-liter V8 engine is also new for 2021, and its intense 470-horsepower output can only be found on the most decked-out trim level: the Rubicon 392.

Body Configurations

True to the Wrangler’s off-road roots, standard four-wheel drive that’s controlled on the console is built into each model. And if you were counting configuration options so far, double that number—two-door and four-door options are available for most trim levels.
