Performance

The 2021 Jeep Compass comes standard with a 2.4-liter Tigershark® MultiAir® 2 engine that generates 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models except for the Jeep Compass Trailhawk® model, which comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Front-wheel drive is standard but four-wheel drive is available for drivers in need of enhanced traction. Front-wheel models deliver an estimated 22 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. Four-wheel drive models achieve the same, except for one less MPG on the highway.

On every configuration, drivers can enjoy a normal duty suspension. However, if you are itching to hit trails, the Trailhawk level comes with an off-road suspension for increased stability.

Also standard on the Jeep Compass Trailhawk is the Selec-Terrain® traction management system for matching your vehicle settings with the terrain beneath you.

Interior

Most Jeep Compass models are thoughtfully designed with a black interior and comfortable cloth or premium vinyl low-back bucket seats. For a more luxurious interior, the 80th Anniversary model has 80th Edition leather seats and premium leather-trimmed seats are available on higher models.

Heated front seats are available on all models but are standard on the Jeep Compass Limited. Black with Ski Gray or Ruby Red interior colors are available on certain trim levels, as well.
