How to Prepare for Jeep Service

Whether you’re due for your regularly scheduled oil change, or your vehicle is experiencing some issues you need to have addressed, the highly trained technicians in our service department are here to help. Here are some ways you can prepare for your next Jeep service appointment.

1. Make an appointment. While our dealership will accept walk-in service requests if possible, it’s always best to try to schedule your appointment ahead of time. This gives our certified technicians the opportunity to be as prepared as possible and minimizes your wait time.
2. Be specific. Don’t be vague when describing an issue or requesting services for your car. Instead of, “The tire is acting up,” try, “The front driver’s side tire makes an odd noise when I’m turning.”
3. Clean your car. Don’t bring in a messy car full of debris the mechanics will have to work around to access your vehicle. Presenting a clean, tidy car allows your technicians to do what they need to do with ease.
4. Prepare a ride ahead of time. If you don’t want to wait around at our California Jeep dealership while your car is being worked on, or if your model may need to remain at the service center overnight, be sure to arrange for a ride to and from the dealership beforehand. You can also ask us about our loaner vehicles.
5. Plan to entertain yourself. If you’re planning to stick around the dealership for the duration of your appointment, bring a book or tablet to the service center to keep yourself busy.
