At Rancho Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, the RAM truck lineup is always popular, and with our 2017 vehicles, you have so much technology at your disposal. Gone are the days of guesswork when it comes to backing in and out of areas with your large truck like the RAM 1500. That’s because ParkSense® Park Assist is available, and helps you get in and out of spaces with ease. A lot of people don’t know how it works, but we’re here to give you a quick rundown of what it does.

  • ParkSense® Park Assist has sensors in both the front and rear bumpers that work to monitor your surroundings when in drive or reverse at speeds less than seven miles per hour
  • The system is able to scan and detect obstacles up to 79 inches from the back of the vehicle, to 47 inches in the front of the vehicle
  • Yo’re able to see the ParkSense® Park Assist display on your instrument cluster, and if it spots an object that is close, it will show it in the display and make a tone. The closer you get to the obstacle, the faster the pace of the tone

If you want to see our RAM trucks up close and personal, feel free to stop in and see us today here in our San Diego showroom. Our team would be happy to answer any questions you might have, and arrange a test drive at your convenience.
