There are so many things to keep in mind when shopping RAM trucks. How much power does it have? Have much can you tow? What can you haul? And possibly most important: what size of cabin do you need?

RAM 1500

The full-size RAM 1500 has three cab sizes: regular, quad, and crew cab. With the regular cab, the truck has just two doors. It can seat three passengers in the single bench seat.

The next size up is the quad cab. It has four doors, although it isn’t quite as spacious as the crew cab, the largest cabin size. Comparing the two, the quad cab has 117.2 cubic feet of passenger space while the crew cab provides up to 132.4 cubic feet.

The crew cab can seat up to six passengers. It gives you generous cabin space. In fact, it offers more rear-seat legroom than any other full-size truck. Keep in mind, only select trim levels of the RAM 1500 are available in a crew cab version.

RAM 2500/RAM 3500

Your cabin options are similar in the heavy-duty trucks at Kearny Mesa Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, although they go by different names. There is the regular cab that can seat two or three passengers, depending on the configuration.

The crew cab adds two doors and a second row of seats. The largest option, the mega cab, gives you even more space. The crew cab has 40.2 inches of rear legroom while the mega cab provides 43.1 inches.
