What We Know About the 2022 Jeep® Wrangler

One model that’s got our team excited is the 2022 Jeep Wrangler. This compact SUV is well-known for its off-road capability combined with everyday practicality, offering a plethora of trim levels and customizations so it caters perfectly to each driver. And the new Jeep Wrangler is slated to be even better.
What’s New for the 2022 Jeep Wrangler?
While the 2022 Jeep Wrangler hasn’t yet been released to the public—it’s scheduled to roll out at Kearny Mesa Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM this fall—we do know a few things about the new model year.
While the 2020 models received a full refresh, many of the same features we know and love will still be present for 2022.
Trim levels will largely be the same, as well as powertrains, with most models being powered by the 3.6-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine of the 2021 models. It makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
The other option is the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, which produces 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
New Packages and Features
The new available Jeep Performance Parts 2-inch lift kit and 37-inch tires work together for a great ride, while the Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package also offers a factory lift rather than resorting to aftermarket options.
The 2022 Jeep Wrangler is also said to have extra safety equipment, that haven’t been seen in previous model years. We’ll share more information about these exciting features as we learn more!
If you’re just as excited as we are about the rollout of this great new Jeep SUV, be sure to keep in touch with Kearny Mesa Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM for the release date. We’ll get you behind the wheel for a test drive as soon as we can.
